Silicone is applied to the connection joints for sealing which provides extra protection against mois- ture and water. In the LED profile systems, absolute tightness against water is achie- ved with the casting of Wepuran casting resin based on polyurethane resin (PUR). IMPORTANT: During the installation of LED profile systems in wet rooms and outdoors, it is impe- rative to pay attention to the exclusive use of LED flexstripes with the appropriate protection class! Linear LED outdoor lighting systems with GALAXY ® profiles meet these requirements by default. When choosing a LED flex stripe, check the manufacturer’s protection class (at least IP65). Besonderen Schutz vor Feuchtigkeit und Wasser bietet Silikon, das zum Abdichten auf die Verbindungsstellen aufgetragen wird. Absolute Dichtheit gegen Wasser erreicht man bei den LED Profilsystemen durch Vergießen mit We- puran-Gießharz auf Polyurethanharzbasis (PUR). WICHTIG: Bei der Montage von LED Profilsystemen in Nasszellen und Outdoor ist zwingend auf die ausschließliche Verwendung von LED Flexbändern mit entsprechender Schutzart zu achten! Lineare LED Outdoor Leuchtensysteme von GALAXY ® profiles erfüllen diese Anforderungen standardmäßig.
